Where, Oh Where is our Shepherd?

There is not a day that goes by that I don't feel vindicated by my convictions. Even if I have my own special way of expressing my political views, you cannot fault me for not feeling passionate about it. I know in my heart that I share the same feelings as others who are too afraid to speak up.
Tell me dear reader... where is the excitement in Obama's Presidential campaign? Where has it gone? The baa-baa-baaing of the sheep is but a faint chorus of what it used to be. Has the loud ass kissing sounds made towards conservative voters drowned out the baaing of the sheep?
Forgive me for asking, but is Obama now doing what Hillary was ridiculed for? Hillary was booed and hissed for staking her aim for the middle of the political spectrum. Obama is now doing the same thing. How in good conscience can you fault Hillary, yet look the other way when Obama is doing it? I am real curious how your conscience flip flops and is now just peachy keen with it!
When will Obama put some excitement back onto the ticket by picking Hillary Clinton as his Vice President? There was no need to pick Hillary when Obama had a substantial poll lead. But now the glow is fading. It is quite embarrassing to watch Obama's poll numbers dive against the dullest political opponent since Bob Dole.
I say it is time to put back some excitement on the ticket and pick Hillary Clinton as Vice President. Without Hillary, many will defect to McCain for the comfort of his experience. You should all heed my warning before you get disappointed come election time.

did i mention that my grandfather was a sheep hearder? and that we grew up camping in his sheep hearding tent? good times.
1) You're right.
2) I don't think Hillary wants the VP position. But I digress.
3) I'll vote anti-McCain, but I'm not pro-Obama
Homer's silence on the matter is deafening.
GO HILLARY! I agree Brett, Obama is a John Kerry waiting to happen. Hello President McCain, unless Barack picks Hillary.
Yeah, I'm getting a little tired of your rant. Time to read someone else's blog.
If you can clean up Bill Clinton's financial dealings with that Presidential library and disclose the donor list. That is the only thing holding Obama from picking Hillary.
Once again, we're forced to hold our noses and choose between a turd sandwich and a douchebag. God help us all.
Could not agree with you more , Brett..... I dont see Evan Bayh bringing any real excitement to the race, Joe Biden is so not a fresh or exciting face. The draft Sam Nunn people are a joke.
Chuck Hagel would be a VERY bold and good choice, but I dont think either of them are that bold.
You and I are both rabid Hillary supporters, so maybe we are not seeing the forrest for the trees, BUT, what was a nail biting , glued to the set race has become dull as dishwater ...
Lets hope he makes the right choice. As far as her NOT wanting to be VP.... ummm.. Chelsea would be on EBAY in a heartbeat if it would help her ...
Hey Mike, I work as an archaeologist and was out in the field today. No internet! 90 degrees and 70+ percent humidity. Lots of dirt and construction equipment.
I don't appreciate your idiotic comment- what did you do today? Sit on your butt in front of the computer and make stupid comments?
Brett, historically the time between the nomination and the convention is a slow time. I expect once the convention takes place we will all be sick of politicians.
You're far more interesting and attractive with your clothes off and your mouth shut.
Hillary would be terrible choice for VP. See why at

Brett, you seem like a decent guy. Except when you're being an idiot. To keep repeating the same thing over and over in a 'put up your dukes' itching for a fight kind of way is not passion - its just being an idiot. The first few times its fun and entertaining but after awhile its just a big yawn. It's pretty clear how you feel about Obama and Madame Mrs Clinton. If she becomes the VP pick you can crow all you want. But until then maybe its time now to move onto other topics / fight-picking ideas.
The only problem with Hillary is that she may do something like accidently nuke Iran because she's having a menopausal hotflash or because her hormonal replacement therapy has left her an emotional wreck.
Brett: I will vote anti-Obama, only because American security requires experience. I will have to hold my nose and vote for McCain...it is something I do not want to have to do!
I think it's fascinating that you only choose to post when some news item supports your view to the exclusion of all other news. You did that several times during the primary. As a matter of fact you chose not to post anything for quite a while until Clinton gained "momentum."
Here is something to chew on.
