Heavenly Vocals make for a "Heavenly Day"
I got my hands on an advanced copy of the first single from Patty Griffin's Children Running Through album available February 6, 2007. I was blown away with her beautiful voice and her soulreaching lyrics. Heavenly Day is a gorgeous song. I popped the DEMO in E.Shrew's Benz on the way to Downtown Fitness. My first reaction was "WOW! THIS IS WAY BETTER THAN NORA JONES!" I have listened to the song about 10 times today. I love it so much that I am going to get her album when it comes out. I wish Patty Griffin all the luck with her new album. I hopes she finds tremendous commercial success with it.

Patty Griffin is pure genius......smartest current female artist around, hands down. Oh and Brett is pure HUNK! Sweet.
I have been listening to her songs every single day when I get home from a stressful day at work. It's soooo beautiful hearing her wonderful voice
Impossible Dream on headphones just before bed is extremely comforting.......her new CD is out Feb.6.....I've already pre-ordered from Barnes and Noble, whose version has 2 extra tracks.....can't wait.
My local indie shop had her new CD on the shelves 4 days early....ahhhhhh....I couldn't resist! More amazing work from her.
